AUTOMATION

Thanks to the "C" frame design, which is one of their distinguishing features, Galdabini machines can easily be interfaced with any type of automation for the automatic feeding of workpieces to be processed. Galdabini can supply any kind of “turn-key” solution, taking care of interface design and development according to Customer's needs.
Alternatively customers can provide their own handling system and Galdabini would fulfil the integration with the straightener.
Below, just a few examples of possible automations that can be proposed by Galdabini.


ROBOT

Excellent handling ergonomics: robot is on the backside and machine front is kept completely free.
Workpiece is moved out of machine frame, this is an ideal condition for loading by means of single or double grip robots (reduced loading time)


WALKING BEAM

Workpiece loading/unloading directly under the punch
with cycle time 2 sec.: a lift & carry over system is used.


"TANDEM” LOADER

The automatic loading system “Tandem", with continuous lift & carry over movement, is a cost-effective solution, to grant a constant workpiece feeding, with loading / unloading time of 2 seconds. One operator can handle 2-3 machines at the same time.


"TWIST" LOADER

Workpiece loading/unloading on the same side:
TWIST loading system picks up and deposits parts on an intermediate station outside machine frame, to be used as interface with gantry loaders.


GANTRY LOADER

Workpiece transfer by gantry loaders:
connected to the machine through feeding conveyors, directly on straightening fixture or on lift and carry over system.


CHAIN CONVEYORS

Chain type conveyors,
Chain transport systems to be integrated with customer production line


PALLETS LOOP

Feeding and discharging pallets accumulation loop
